The Maker 3 and the Explore 3 both have guides, to feed the smart materials into the machine for easy cutting. New colors and feature redesigns to the machines. With changes to the exterior of the cutting housing moving the name from the outside to the interior, and a color change to the Explore 3. There are also brand new features to the Explore 3. Now the top of the machine can hold your phone or tablet. I’m seriously excited for this feature, this was once of my favorites on the previous Maker model. It makes it so convenient to be able to see your cut progress or begin a cut right where your machine is located. Another couple of great ways to use this feature is place your Cricut Brightpad for a light source, or use your tablet or phone to watch a tutorial video or stream a show.
Brand new smart materials available in vinyl, adhesive backed paper, and iron on. There is also a brand new roll holder for the smart materials with a built in cutter. It connects directly to the new machines to cut the longer rolls of smart materials.
