Cricut Access is a subscription service from Cricut. There are two different plans with different options. There are many reasons why I enjoy the Cricut Access subscription discounts and access to exclusive sales, but there is so much more.
Cricut Access Basics
First, I’m going to break down the basics of what Cricut Access is and what you get with the different subscriptions. Cricut Access is a subscription service for your Cricut Machine, think video subscription services. Cricut Access gives you access to more than 100,000 images, 500+ fonts, and 1000s of ready-made projects. This means as long as you continue the subscription, all the projects saved, and content will remain, unless you decide to discontinue Cricut Access.
When subscription is discontinued, you will only have access to the free content in Design Space, and anything you purchased. For example, if I created a project with images and fonts in Cricut Design Space would be unavailable for me to use if the subscription is discontinued. The items I used in the project would need to be purchased individually unless the subscription was reinstated.
It’s similar to a movie streaming service, you only have access to the content in the streaming service with a current paid subscription. Once the subscription is discontinued access to content is no longer available. So basically, you are renting the content until you discontinue your subscription. There is so much content, and fonts available and with the ability to customize a project and create something unique. I find that this exponentially expands the number of images and fonts available. I enjoy Cricut Access with so much content at your fingertips, along with the other perks, it really pays for itself. If you are a frequent shopper of supplies with Cricut Access it can offer really good deals.

When a subscription is activated, you will have access to almost all content and fonts within design space. There are certain licensed items that require an additional purchase. For example, anything Disney, Star Wars, and Marvel are not included in the subscription cost. There are other licensed designers’ content that are available for additional purchase as well.
