There are so many reasons why I love the easy press 2
I have narrowed it down to the top 5 reasons why I love these products and why they are a must have. The heating element on these give amazing results, due to having a more consistent even heating across the surface. This insures the iron on/htv is properly secured to the material it’s pressed on giving lasting results. Especially when used with the easy press mat, it helps concentrate the heat at the surface. To ensure proper adhesion, to give lasting results.

Lightweight/Portability:
I love this feature of the Easypress 2, this is especially important now with the three different sizes. The 6×7 Easypress 2 is so light, it’s almost deceiving that it’s not going to give the same results. Don’t let this fool you, it may be small and light but it packs the same punch as the others. Even the 12×10, with it’s substantial size, is surprisingly not very heavy. The versatility of the sizes makes them very portable, the small ones can fit in a bag with your supplies. Take them on the go virtually anywhere where there is power and you can press on the go. Events, on vacation, to crops, parties, these will fit your needs.
Temperature/Timer Memory:
This is a great time saving feature, no resetting the temperature/timer before pressing. I love being able to press the on button and it’s ready without resetting. I usually press the same iron on/htv so I don’t have to look up the settings. It even has a safety feature built into these settings, that once it’s sitting for awhile, it will beep and automatically shut off. This is great, no worrying about did I shut off the easypress, because it shut off for me.
Redesigned slimmer base:
The new base is so much better than the base on the original easypress. It’s fits closer around the easypress, but with the same protection with the heating element is recessed in the base. The best feature of the new base is the feet it’s raised up on. I think it’s the best feature of the new base. It disperses the heat away from the surface that it’s sitting on, which makes it safer to use. I also found that it’s easier to pick up too, since it’s raised up on feet.
3 sizes for more versatility:
The 3 sizes make the Easypress 2 so versatile, which will fit all your needs in a press. The small 6×7 easypress is perfect for small projects, such as: baby shirts, monograms, towels, or small bags. The 9×9 is a great in between size, and is great for both smaller and midsize projects. Then there’s the 12×10, it’s a much larger press, but yet surprising not that heavy. I love the surface space of this one, if banners, large bags, are what you press this one is for you. No matter what you want to press, Cricut has thought of your needs as a home crafter, and delivered.
Faster Heating:
These heat up so fast, especially with the 6×7 size, it’s always ready before I am. It heats up just under a minute and the 9×9 and 12×10 heat up under 3 minutes. I love how quickly these are ready, it makes getting a project or multiple projects done in a flash. It’s so important to have the faster heating, especially when your time is limited. I usually have so many things going on at the time, that’s absolutely worth it, to have a product that can save me time. Before I had an easy press, I dreaded making iron on projects, it took so much time, and I would worry about the end result. Now, those worries are gone, I can get my projects done in a flash with the confidence that it will last, and last.
