New Scoring wheels for Cricut Maker

The Cricut maker shines at cutting materials that weren’t possible before such as: fabric without backing, felt, wood, chipboard, as well as the other materials the other Cricut explore machines cut: vinyl, paper, and iron on. Those who love paper crafts but have been wanting a tool that can give you the best scoring lines possible, the Cricut scoring wheels were recently released and are a game changer. No longer do you have to worry if your beautifully cut piece of heavy material will crack when folding, or will you have to rescore by hand after it was cut. The scoring wheel comes in two types, the single with one wheel for lighter weight materials, and the double with to closely placed parallel scoring wheels for heavy materials.

I love how these wheels work, and they make it so easy to make 3d projects, or just easy to fold projects, such as cards. These are part of the adaptive tool system that can expand the variety of projects you can create with ease with the cricut maker.  So far these include: the rotary blade, the knife blade, and the single and double scoring wheels, and I am hoping more tools will  come in the future. The adaptive tool system is unique to the cricut maker, due to the wheel construction at the top and the amount of extra pressure the maker uses to achieve beautiful, professional results, every time. There are so many more projects you can achieve with materials that just weren’t possible before. This expands the ability for those who love paper crafts and other untraditional materials like acetate to create beautiful things that you are only limited by your imagination.

I find myself looking for projects to try with different materials just to see how it will turn out. With the single wheel, it scores like a dream on materials such as: acetate, thinner papers, cardstock, and so much more. These wheels make it so easy to create a project with professional results, it seems almost unreal, when you are watching the maker work, bringing your vision to life. *These are my own opinions of these products*.
