Father’s Day Cards

Father’s Day is fast approaching and these cards are a great way to celebrate all the Dad’s out there, and let them know how wonderful they are. I have these special cards for the special gaming or tv loving Dad, that’s easy and fun to make. These two cards would be perfect for any Dad, and a gift card could be included to complete the gift.

Items needed: cricut explore series machine, or cricut maker, scoring tool, white cardstock weight printer paper, light grey, dark grey, green, white, and blue cardstock. Also needed, pop dots, adhesive.

Link to project:

Place white cardstock into printer and print the three sheets of items for the cards, two card bases (printed front and back or twice then glue together), and embellishments. Cut them out and fold card base at score line, and set aside. Place paper in remaining order and cut and score following the prompts.  When everything is cut out gather all pieces, adhesive and pop dots.  Place rectangle with layers Happy Father’s Day on front of card securing back with pop dots. Using adhesive, line up the inside rectangle and center embellishment with adhesive and center it to the inside of the card.  Fold envelopes at score lines, and adhere sides to secure, the large flap is secured on top of the small side pieces, leaving top side open to place card inside. Now this card is ready to give to the Dad in your life to make his day even more special with a handmade card.
